The Pennsylvania legislature has approved a bill authorising an expansion of gaming to include casino table games such as poker, blackjack and roulette at the state's casinos, with Governor Ed Rendell expected to sign the bill into law Thursday.

The legislature vote 103 to 89 in favour of the bill which will authorise larger casinos to host up to 250 new tables while smaller casinos will be allowed to install up to 50 tables.
