Easygo-owned betting and gaming operator Stake is expanding its Latin American footprint after securing a licence in Peru.
The licence approval has allowed the launch of online betting and gaming at stake.pe, with the company describing the launch as an “exciting step forward” in its expansion plans in the region.
Diana Otalora, Stake’s general manager for Latin America, commented: “We are delighted to bring Stake to Peru, a country that has a lot of potential for digital growth, which has been evident in recent years.
“This shows our ambition to provide world-class entertainment to Peruvian customers and to expand our reach in LatAm.”
As part of the launch in Peru, Stake has appointed Jennyfer Escobar as country manager.
Escobar, who previously worked at BoyleSports and Inkabet in the region, said she was thrilled to join team Stake and help to guide efforts in Peru,.
“The Peruvian market has significant growth potential and we look forward to engaging even further with the region,” she added. “I’m excited to continue contributing to the dynamic world of gaming in Peru and to drive innovation in this evolving industry.”
The move into Peru, comes almost a year after the operator entered Colombia’s regulated iGaming market through the acquisition of Betfair Colombia from Flutter Entertainment.
