Gaming supplier Aristocrat Technologies has expanded its partnership with Montana-based video gaming device manufacturer Grand Vision Gaming (GVG), which will allow the company to provide its games in the South Dakota video lottery terminal (VLT) market.
Aristocrat has signed a new cross-licensing deal that will see the company provide three of its top performing game themes to GVG’s VLT cabinets in South Dakota.
The deal follows a similar agreement between the two companies earlier this year for the Montana VLT market. Since May 2012, GVG had been Aristocrat’s exclusive distributor of products in Montana. Under the new three-year agreement, Aristocrat is licensing three themes per year to place on GVG’s VLT cabinets within the state.
These same three games, Buffalo, 5 Dragons and Miss Kitty, are now available in South Dakota.
Aristocrat President Atul Bali said: “Our relationship with Grand Vision Gaming has been extremely beneficial -- for Aristocrat, for GVG and for operators and their players. Now we are very excited to be expanding our relationship, bringing three of our most popular titles to South Dakota."
Tim Carson, one of GVG's four partners, said the company’s growing relationship with Aristocrat was proof of a successful collaboration that leverages the individual strengths of both companies.
“In the marketplaces where we have come together, we enjoy a clear competitive advantage we wouldn't each have on our own,” he said.
