Pennsylvania’s Parx Casino has followed up the launch of its Williams Interactive-powered social casino product, Parx Casino Play4Fun, with the release of a mobile variant powered by mobile technology provider JOINGO.

The mobile version is hosted on JOINGO’s Mobile Loyalty Platform and combines Williams’ social casino products with additional mobile features using JOINGO technology.

The app includes JOINGO’s Places geo-fencing solution allowing the operator to deliver special mobile alerts to patrons within set regions. The platform has also been integrated with Bally Technologies’ ACSC casino management solution, allowing it to send highly personalised push notifications relevant to individual players.

The ACSC integration also allows members of the casino’s Xclub loyalty card to access in-app account information and offers.

Brian Wilson, director of multimedia for Parx Casino parent company Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, commented that the JOINGO platform made developing the mobile app “extremely easy.”

“Our in-house design team was able to design, build, and deploy the app in a matter of weeks,” Wilson explained. “The ability to integrate our existing content delivery and web services makes it simple and cost efficient to maintain and refresh content, allowing us to deliver personalized content to our guests at any time.”
