Online gaming software and platform provider Leander Games has expanded its client roster with Betsson becoming the latest operator to sign up to launch its casino content.

Leander will integrate its proprietary content, as well as those from third-party development partners such as Core Gaming and Nektan, onto Betsson’s sites through its LeGa open gaming platform .

It will also work on modernising seven of the most popular games acquired by Betsson in the deal for Dutch-facing operator Oranje Casino last year, which will be re-released on the LeGa platform to ensure continuity for Dutch customers migrating to the Betsson platform.

Leander chief executive Steven Matsell commented that his company’s ability to deliver exclusive, localised content was key to Betsson selecting it as a partner.

“As a very successful operator, they are not short of gaming options,” he explained. “But we now have a portfolio of great performers developed by some of the best games suppliers around.”

“They are delivered on a platform that allows flexibility and adaptability to suit local needs and meet modern standards, wherever the market and whatever the device,” Matsell added.

The Betsson agreement is the latest deal to be signed by Leander after a year of rapid expansion which has seen it partner a number of high-profile operators including Amaya’s Full Tilt Poker, Paddy Power, Betfair, Vera&John and Gaming Realms’ Spin Genie.

The supplier is currently working on rolling out new content, which is due to launch during the first quarter of the year.
