The National Football League has partnered with Caesars Entertainment as its first official casino sponsor.

The multi-year sponsorship begins with the upcoming 2019 NFL playoffs and gives Caesars the exclusive right to use NFL trademarks in the United States and the United Kingdom to promote Caesars casino properties.

Caesars will also provide unique experiences for NFL fans using its casino properties, celebrity chefs, music artists and a wide range of entertainment elements.

"We couldn't be more excited to work with one of the world's largest gaming and entertainment companies," said Renie Anderson, senior vice president, NFL Partnerships, Sponsorship and Consumer Products. "Combining the NFL with Caesars' expertise in world class entertainment will provide our fans unique experiences both here in the United States and abroad."

The NFL sponsorship builds on Caesars existing relationships with seven NFL teams, all of which are centred on the casino category only and exclude resort/hotels, sports betting and daily fantasy sports.

As part of the agreement, Caesars will host elements of the 2020 Draft in coordination with the City of Las Vegas, alongside other properties on the Las Vegas Strip.

Shares in Caesars Entertainment Corp. (NSQ:CZR) closed in New York Thursday at $6.74 per share.
