PrizePicks has brought in long-serving Uber executive Nick Zabriskie to oversee national government affairs and advocacy efforts as senior vice president of public affairs.

Zabriskie is an accomplished policy executive with experience navigating public affairs in the United States and internationally at all levels of government.

He has spent more than eleven years at Uber and was one of the earliest members of the company’s policy team, helping shape Uber’s public affairs strategies that enabled its growth over the last decade.

Prior to Uber, Zabriskie was a Capitol Hill veteran, having served as director of government relations at Capitol Hill Consulting Group, a federal affairs consultancy, and a staff member in the United States House of Representatives.

“Adding a seasoned veteran like Nick is a testament to PrizePicks’ exceptional growth and market presence,” said PrizePicks chief legal officer and head of public policy Jason Barclay. “Nick is the perfect person to lead our public affairs efforts for PrizePicks’ next chapter of innovation. His reputation for ingenuity, integrity, and transparency are the values upon which our advocacy and public policy strategies are built.”

Commenting on his appointment, Zabriskie said: “I am thrilled to build upon the inroads that the PrizePicks team has made these past several years. The team has done an incredible job of creating innovative products and putting customers at the forefront, delivering the ultimate sports entertainment experience.

“PrizePicks has a huge opportunity ahead to serve even more people while maintaining the highest standards of player protection and compliance.”

Currently in the process of being acquired by Allwyn, PrizePicks’ fantasy sports games are live in more than 45 jurisdictions, while the operator recently launched a new prediction markets offering, with Kalshi’s event contracts now live in the PrizePicks app.
