Aristocrat Technologies, the US subsidiary of Australian gaming supplier Aristocrat Leisure Limited, has promoted its senior vice president of sales and marketing Matt Wilson to take charge of global gaming operations.
Wilson has held a number of roles at the supplier since joining in 2004, heading up its sales team for the Asia Pacific region between 2008 and 2012.
He then became vice president of marketing for the Americas, before being promoted to head up sales and marketing in North America in August last year.
In his new role, he takes on responsibility for the development and execution of Aristocrat’s global recurring revenue strategy in all Class III markets, including oversight of North American gaming operations, which the supplier describes as a key source of growth.
“Matt’s proven leadership and insight have been instrumental in driving Aristocrat’s recent momentum in the North American market,” Aristocrat chief commercial officer Maureen Sweeny said. “His experience in the sales and marketing functions across the company’s major Class III markets in Australia and New Zealand, Asia Pacific and North America, have given him a deep understanding of our global growth opportunities.
“This experience uniquely qualifies Matt to spearhead our efforts as we look to build sustainable business models across the globe, in alignment with our Global Class III strategy,” she explained.
