London-listed gaming supplier Nektan has named former GVC director Simon Hay as its new chief financial officer.

Hay assumes his new role on 17 June, having previously served as finance transformation director at gaming operator GVC Holdings.

His over twenty years of accountancy and consultancy experience also includes various roles at KPMG.

“We are delighted to welcome Simon as CFO. He joins us at a very exciting time for the business as we continue our rapid growth and path to sustained profitability,” said Nektan chief executive Lucy Buckley.

“His international expertise will be especially valuable as we expand into new emerging territories, providing leading gaming and casino brands with our technology and premium content globally.”

Hay replaces Patrick Sinclair, who has served as chief financial officer of Nektan since January 2017.

Shares in Nektan plc. (LSE:NKTN) were trading down 3.85 per cent at 12.50 pence per share in London Monday morning.
