Wynn Resorts’ upcoming resort in the United Arab Emirates will be headed up by seasoned executive Max Tappeiner.
Tappeiner will assume the role of president of Wynn Al Marjan Island on September 1, having served as executive vice president of Wynn Las Vegas since May 2023.
He has also served as VP of operations at Resorts World Las Vegas and The Venetian Las Vegas, and as hotel manager at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas.
Wynn Al Marjan Island, located in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, is scheduled to open in 2027 as the UAE’s first integrated casino resort.
Shares in Wynn Resorts Ltd. (NASDAQ:WYNN) closed 1.76 per cent higher at $77.36 per share in New York Wednesday.
