FSB brings in Rob Wheeler as business development director

London-based iGaming platform provider FSB has appointed experienced executive Rob Wheeler as business development director with immediate effect.

Wheeler joins FSB from New York-listed Inspired Entertainment, where he was commercial director for the supplier’s interactive division. He has also previously held senior positions at Playtech, IGT Interactive and Virtue Fusion.

In his new role leading FSB’s sales team, he will be tasked with driving the company’s existing and new business across regulated and emerging markets.

Following the recent appointment of new finance chief Andrew Bowen, Wheeler’s arrival coincides with the company’s planned expansion after receiving funding from Toronto-based private equity firm Clairvest last year.

“I’m delighted to have Rob in place as we continue to attract some of the best industry talent and scale up both our senior team and the business overall,” said FSB chief executive David McDowell. “The combination of Rob’s experience working for some of the biggest providers in gaming and his commercial knowledge over more than 15 years is second-to-none.
