DraftKings has shut down its daily fantasy sports (DFS) business in the United Kingdom in order to focus on growth markets.

DraftKings’ DFS offering launched in the UK in 2016 and has closed with immediate effect, as the company looks to optimise its operations and focus on growth markets such as the United States.

Contests were officially shut down on Friday (4 October), with any outstanding contests null and void.

DraftKings’ DFS customers have until 3 June 2025 to withdraw funds from their account.
