Expanded partnership enhances BetMGM and Borgata Online’s offering in New Jersey, after a successful launch on BetMGM in Ontario
Inspired Entertainment has expanded its partnership with BetMGM to roll out its Virtual Sports content in New Jersey.
The launch includes the V-Play Soccer, V-Play Basketball and V-Play NFL-themed Football games, which are now live across the BetMGM and Borgata Online sports betting platforms in The Garden State, having already been rolled out on BetMGM in Ontario.
“We are pleased to expand our partnership with BetMGM and Borgata to bring our proven Virtual Sports products to their New Jersey sportsbook,” said Inspired president and CEO Brooks Pierce. “Our V-Play Soccer, Basketball, and V-Play NFL-themed Football products have demonstrated strong performance across regulated markets, driving meaningful incremental revenue and engagement for our operator partners.
“This launch underscores the growing role Virtual Sports play in modern sportsbooks, where companies that position Virtual Sports within their sportsbook, rather than their online casino, consistently generate higher revenues.”
BetMGM chief revenue officer Matt Prevost said: “Inspired Entertainment is a leader in Virtual Sports and expanding our partnership represents an important milestone in elevating BetMGM and Borgata Online’s offerings in New Jersey.
“Inspired’s V-Play portfolio delivers the premium, engaging sports content and results from Ontario have shown a positive player response.”
In related news, BetMGM has agreed a deal with Games Global to become the first operator to launch new franchise variants of Gold Blitz slot titles in the US, ahead of their wider market rollout.
The new partnership begins with Gold Blitz Express, the fourth instalment in the series which introduces a new Blitz Express feature. Additional releases will include Blazing Bison Gold Blitz Ultimate Double X, scheduled for release in April.
“At BetMGM, we are committed to providing our players with premium gaming experiences, and it doesn’t get much more premium than Games Global’s flagship game family, Gold Blitz,” said BetMGM senior vice president of gaming Oliver Bartlett. “Being the first to launch these new titles ensures our players can enjoy immersive gameplay experiences ahead of the wider market, further strengthening our offering.
Joann Pierce, chief commercial officer US at Games Global, said: “Gold Blitz has become one of the key game brands within our portfolio, consistently delivering strong results across a range of markets. Working with BetMGM to introduce new iterations to players first reflects a shared focus on delivering high-quality, engaging content.
“As the franchise continues to evolve, early access initiatives such as this allow us to showcase its latest innovations while supporting our partners’ growth objectives.”
