EveryMatrix has announced its biggest casino platform deal of the year after being selected to power Danske Spil’s online casino and bingo offerings.

The new long-term partnership will see Danske Licens Spil migrate its casino and bingo business from its existing provider to the EveryMatrix tech stack, ahead of a relaunch next summer.

“To earn the confidence of the Danske Licens Spil’s management team to deliver this project and replace their existing platform technology for the first time since Denmark regulated in 2012 is a huge endorsement,” said EveryMatrix CEO and co-founder Ebbe Groes. “I’d like to personally thank them for the trust they’ve placed in EveryMatrix.

“The rate at which we’re winning and delivering large, tier-1 turnkey platform deals to power some of the world’s best-known brands is rapidly accelerating. This is thanks to the tireless efforts of our experts and the superior technology solutions they design and deploy.”

Danske Licens Spil iGaming director Søren Schneider said: “After a thorough selection process, we have chosen EveryMatrix as our future platform partner for casino and bingo. We look forward to leveraging their modern and flexible technology to enhance our offering and provide an engaging and responsible gaming experience for our customers.

“EveryMatrix’s agile platform makes it easy for us to integrate with a wide range of game providers, strengthening both our offering and the overall player experience.”

Danske Spil partnered bwin.party (now Entain) to power its iGaming platform, including bingo and poker, when the Danish iGaming market was liberalised in 2012.

Last week, GGPoker signed a strategic agreement with Danske Licens Spil after securing a supplier license from the Danish Gambling Authority.

The agreement enables Dansk Spil’s players to access the biggest online tournaments, including exclusive World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online gold bracelet series and live WSOP satellite tournaments, alongside a diverse selection of cash games and innovative game formats.

GGPoker’s parent company, NSUS Group, acquired the World Series of Poker (WSOP) from Caesars Entertainment in August 2024 for $500 million.

“We are thrilled to partner with Danske Spil to bring the best poker experience in the world to Danish players,” said Sarne Lightman, managing director of GGPoker. “This is a significant milestone for us, and we are excited to welcome Danske Spil’s customers to the world’s biggest poker community. They can now look forward to competing in the best games and biggest tournaments available anywhere.”

Schneider added: “We look forward to welcoming our Danske Spil poker community into an entirely new poker universe with GGPoker as our new partner and supplier. Within the familiar setting of Danske Spil Poker, our customers will gain access to GGPoker’s international network and world-class features and games.

“Combining GGPoker’s outstanding software with Danske Spil’s unique poker DNA, we will deliver a world-class poker experience for our players.”
