Veikkaus subsidiary Fennica Gaming has expanded its presence in Latin America with the launch of its first slate of online casino games in Mexico.

Fennica Gaming has rolled out an initial selection of its online casino games in the country with Novibet, building on the launch of its eInstant games in Brazil in 2024.

“This year our strategy is clear: drive focused growth in both our main verticals, eInstants and eCasino,” said Joni Hovi, Fennica Gaming’s senior vice president of customers and marketing. “Our expansion into Latin America, and now into Mexico with Novibet, directly reflects that strategy and our learning curve as a company. We are entering these markets to truly understand local player behaviour, and then bring those learnings back home to guide our game development.

“This is the only way to create future-proof games that deliver genuine value for our customers and support their sustainable business models. We are absolutely putting players first – not as a slogan, but as the foundation of how we design, launch, and evolve our content and our business operations.”

Novibet strategic partnerships manager Ionas Zagaris added: “In our search for fresh, high-quality content, we discovered Fennica Gaming through its strong visibility and positive campaigning and reached out to explore a partnership. From the very first contact, the collaboration has been smooth and professional, and we were impressed by the quality, design, and art of the games.

“The launch in Mexico was delivered seamlessly, both technically and operationally, and we now look forward to bringing even more Fennica Gaming titles to our players.”

Fennica said that the cooperation with Novibet in Mexico will roll out in phases, guided by data and player insight.

“As we state in our value proposition, we put the players first – and this cooperation with Novibet in Mexico is no exception,” explained Fennica Gaming business development manager Joonas Tirkkonen. “In the first phase we have launched eight games, and each of them is deliberately very different. The goal is to understand the Mexican player base in depth and see which themes, mechanics, and experiences they prefer.

“After the initial launch and the learnings we gather, we will adjust our release pipeline and roadmap. With the knowledge we gain, we will have more informed, data-backed understanding of what Mexican players are like and what types of games they truly love. Those are the games we will prioritize and provide to Novibet and its players going forward.”
