PokerStars is joining forces with FanDuel to bring together two of the biggest names in gaming under one platform

Flutter Entertainment-owned FanDuel has announced the official launch of PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel, a new platform introducing shared liquidity and expanded gameplay across three US states.

The new dedicated poker app and desktop site enables players to enjoy bigger player pools and prizes by merging player liquidity between New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, while adding new players from FanDuel sportsbook and casino communities.

Forming one of the largest regulated online poker networks in North America, customers will also have access to a broader selection of tournaments and cash games, including the $500,000 guaranteed Sunday Million tournaments.

“The launch of PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel brings together two of the most iconic names in gaming and represents a major step forward for online poker in North America,” said Aaron Dugan, general manager of PokerStars at FanDuel. “By combining PokerStars’ industry-leading poker experience with FanDuel’s scale and reach, we’re able to deliver bigger games, larger prize pools and a more dynamic experience. We look forward to welcoming players to the tables.”

A range of promotions and events, including a $150,000 guaranteed ‘No Sweat’ series, alongside a full schedule of tournaments and cash games for players of all levels, will also be introduced.

In addition to the US launch, PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel will be available in Ontario, Canada later this year.

PokerStars Casino Progessive Jackpots were removed on April 1 and any jackpot winnings that remain as part of the respective games have been distributed to the players who participated in the jackpot.

Shares in FanDuel and PokerStars parent company Flutter Entertainment plc (NYSE:FLUT) closed 0.77 per cent higher at $102.73 per share in New York Wednesday.
