The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) has issued a AUD$2 million fine to casino operator Crown Resorts for allowing self-excluded players to gamble at its Melbourne venue.
The fine follows an investigation by the gambling regulator, which found that 242 people who had self-excluded themselves were able to place bets at Crown Melbourne Casino on hundreds of occasions.
