Oslo-listed Gaming Innovation Group has announced the successful launch of its new B2C iGaming brand Highroller.com.

The in-house developed website went live at the end of November and is the newest addition to GIG's portfolio of Betit-powered sites which include Kaboo, Thrills and Superlenny.

The company said that the launch results were already “well ahead” of expectations with more than 3,000 new first time depositors and €650,000 in deposits.

Operated under Malta and UK licences, Highroller.com has been launched in the Nordic markets and will expand to additional markets and channels early next year.

"With Highroller.com we want to create the ultimate platform for casino players and we are very excited to be live,” said Robin Reed, CEO of Gaming Innovation Group. “We had high expectations for the brand, yet the results of the opening week have exceeded them." 

GIG said that the launch followed a number of improvements across its product portfolio, including a complete review of all signup offers, CRM systems, and marketing campaigns. These changes have been introduced following a consolidation of employees in GIG Gaming from three locations in Malta into one.

“The changes have provided immediate effects, and in combination with the Highroller.com launch, GIG expects a positive EBITDA from the Gaming operation from Q1 2018 onwards,” the company stated.

Shares in Gaming Innovation Group Inc (OSL:GIG) were trading down 0.66 per cent at NOK4.50 per share in Oslo early Thursday.
