Atlantic City's soon-to-open Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has linked its rewards programme to the Greentube-powered free-to-play gaming portal that has been launched for the brand.

Players on the new HardRockSocialCasino.com can now link their Atlantic City Wild Card rewards account to their social gaming account, enabling them to accumulate points to redeem for merchandise, meals or other prizes.

The free-to-play offering was launched through a deal agreed in February between the Seminole Tribe of Florida and BlueBat Games, a subsidiary of Novomatic's interactive arm Greentube.

This deal covers all 11 Hard Rock properties owned by the tribe, as well as its six Florida-based casinos operated by Seminole Gaming.

HardRockSocialCasino.com is available across desktop and mobile devices and features a range of slots, video poker and table games.

"We are excited to announce the arrival of our online social gaming site that is easy to navigate and offers free play," Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City president Matt Harkness said.

"Launching this social games website will bring excitement to those who enjoy playing the most innovated games for slots and tables online and it will be a great opportunity for many to experience and connect to the Hard Rock brand for the first time."

Hard Rock will follow its social launch with the roll-out of a real-money iGaming offering powered by Gaming Innovation Group, marking its entry into the regulated New Jersey iGaming market.

Hard Rock is due to open its Atlantic City venue this summer, having spent more than $500m to acquire and renovate the former Trump Taj Mahal property.
