Renewed sponsorship also includes the club’s women’s team for the first time
Kaizen Gaming’s Betano brand has renewed its partnership with Portuguese Primeira Liga club FC Porto for a further three seasons.
Having stood alongside the Dragons since 2021, Betano will continue as FC Porto’s main sponsor until the end of the 2028/29 season.
The renewed agreement sees Betano maintain its presence on the front of the official match and training shirts of FC Porto’s First Team and B Team.
For the first time, the partnership also extends to the club’s Women’s Team, which will make its debut in the top tier of Portuguese women’s football this season, with the Betano logo featuring on the sleeve of the team’s shirts.
“FC Porto is stronger when its partners are stronger too,” said José Pedro Pereira da Costa, executive board member and chief financial officer of FC Porto. “It is through this mutually beneficial relationship, one that we have built on trust and commitment, that both our Club and our partners thrive. Betano has been a key partner through many important moments, and we are therefore delighted to extend our partnership until 2029.
“Far beyond its presence on the front of our shirt, Betano has played a decisive role in several Club projects, particularly Inzone, which is a source of great pride for us. And, of course, there are the many initiatives we have developed together, which are an integral part of the Club’s vitality and which we are certain will continue to grow over the coming years.”
Kaizen Gaming chief commercial officer Julio Iglesias Hernando commented: “FC Porto has been an exceptional partner over the past five years, a period in which the club has won an impressive total of eight domestic titles, and we are delighted to extend this successful relationship until 2029. This renewal reflects the strong trust we have built together and our shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and delivering memorable experiences for fans.
“We are especially proud to expand our partnership to include FC Porto’s Women’s Team, supporting another important milestone in the club’s journey. We look forward to continuing to grow together, both on and off the pitch, while creating a positive and lasting impact for the FC Porto community.”
