Following a comprehensive review and a full public consultation last year, the UK's Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) and the Broadcast Committee of Advertising Practice (BCAP) have launched new Advertising Codes to come into force on September 1st 2010, including a dedicated lottery advertising section governing ads by the National Lottery and lotteries licensed under the UK Gambling Act.
