The New Jersey Senate has approved a resolution to allow Senate President Steven Sweeney to join a lawsuit against the federal government challenging the constitutionality of the 1992 Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA)which prohibits sports betting in all but four U.S states.
