The American Gaming Association (AGA) has appointed Geoff Freeman as its new president and CEO, replacing Frank Fahrenkopf who steps down at the end of June.

Freeman will begin his new role on July 1st, bringing with him sixteen years of association leadership and public affairs experience, including successfully guiding a wide array of complex industry issue campaigns, reshaping and repositioning industries, and helping to pass key legislation.

For the past seven years, Freeman has served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the US Travel Association, a non-profit trade organisation that represents and speaks for the common interests of the US travel industry.
