Betfair co-founder Edward Wray has now stepped down from his role as chairman after twelve years of service with the company, with Gerald Corbett taking over the role as from today.
Corbett was brought in last December as deputy chairman of Betfair, with a view to succeed Wray during the first quarter of 2012. Corbett has extensive experience in the City, having been a director of eleven public companies, four as chairman.
