Finland’s state-owned gaming operator Veikkaus has penned an extension to its long-running partnership with the Finnish Football Association through to 2030.
The new agreement will see the operator continue sponsoring Finnish football leagues, including the Veikkausliiga men’s division and Kansallisen Liiga women’s division, as well as the men’s and women’s national football teams.
In addition, Veikkaus will also sponsor the Finnish futsal leagues, and the men’s and women’s national futsal teams.
“The agreement with the Football Association of Finland is very important and meaningful to us,” said Veikkaus CEO Olli Sarekoski. “Veikkaus and Finnish football share a long history, and that continues. Finnish football is on the rise, and together with the Football Association, we can offer Finns powerful emotions and memorable experiences. We are excited about the coming years. Our cooperation will deepen further through this new partnership.”

Veikkaus has been with us for a long time and we believe that together with them football and futsal will continue their successful growth in the future.
Marco Casagrande, secretary general of the Finnish Football Association, added: “The game is developing and changing, but at its core are still excitement, joy, disappointment and communal experiences. Veikkaus knows the roots of Finnishness and the future possibilities, they have shown their will to be involved in developing the future of Finnish football and futsal in the long term.”
