BoyleSports has signed a new three-year sponsorship agreement to continue as a title sponsor of the Galway Races.
The agreement will see BoyleSports continue its sponsorship of the €110,000 day-six feature, the BoyleSports Handicap Hurdle, and the €17,000 BoyleSports Maiden Hurdle.
It also gives the operator the naming rights to the €80,000 Galway Tribes Hurdle, which will be held on Saturday 2 August due to scheduling changes.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have a sponsor so deeply involved in the industry on board for another three years,” said Galway Races CEO Michael Moloney.
“BoyleSports are fantastic partners and have been long-time supporters of our Summer Festival. We’re also pleased to announce an addition to Saturday’s racecard with the BoyleSports Galway Tribes Hurdle, having been moved from Friday to Saturday.
“This change gives horses that don’t make the cut for Thursday’s Feature Hurdle another valuable opportunity to compete, enhancing the overall quality and excitement of the week’s racing.”
Liam McKee, Head of Sponsorship for BoyleSports, added: “We’re absolutely thrilled to continue our support of Irish racing by renewing our sponsorship at the Galway Races, one of the highlights of the Irish racing calendar.
“This year’s renewal feels particularly special as it coincides with an exciting new chapter for BoyleSports as our major brand relaunch gets underway, and there’s no better place to showcase it than at an event that holds such a special place in the hearts of the Irish public.”
