Canadian provincial lottery operator British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) is preparing for the opening of its fifth retail sportsbook this weekend.
The Proline sportsbook lounge will officially open its doors at BCLC’s Chances Casino Fort St. John venue on Sunday (21 September), and is the first of its kind in the Peace River region.
The retail sportsbook features a custom-built space with a 24-foot screen, allowing players to watch multiple matches simultaneously, as well as six self-serve Proline betting terminals, enabling players to place pre-game and live bets, including single bets and parlays.
“We are thrilled to open our newest Proline sportsbook lounge at Chances Casino Fort St. John,” said BCLC chief operating officer Dan Beebe. “With wall-to-wall displays and a modern sportsbook offering, we believe that the lounge will provide an exciting and memorable experience for both sports fans and bettors alike in Fort St. John and around the Peace River region.”
The new sportsbook will be BCLC’s fifth retail sport book in British Columbia, alongside the existing Proline sportsbooks at Parq Casino, Chances Casino Kelowna, Chances Maple Ridge, and Casino of the Rockies.
Another Proline retail sportsbook is expected to soon open at Chances Terrace.
