Fanatics Sportsbook has debuted its new NBA-focused advertising campaign featuring Grammy Award-winning superstar Megan Thee Stallion.

The new series of ads, directed by Grammy-winning filmmaker Calmatic, titled “Explained by Megan Thee Stallion,” aims to celebrate the intersection of basketball, music, and culture, while showcasing Fanatics’ FanCash rewards programme and Fair Play injury protection.

The first ad is set on a dramatically lit basketball court and features a 25-piece orchestra commanded by the singer, with the superstar explaining how the FanCash programme works.

The second ad will be released later this month, with Megan Thee Stallion explaining how the operator’s Fair Play injury protection works.

The campaign will run throughout the NBA season across TV, online video, social media, podcasts, out-of-home advertising and influencer activations, with special interactions planned around the in-season tournament, all-star weekend, and playoffs.

The ad campaign featuring Megan Thee Stallion builds on the “Explained By Livvy Dunne” campaign which launched in August.
