Brightstar Lottery has secured a two-year contract extension with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), which runs the functions and activities of the Texas Lottery.

The contract extension will see Brightstar continue to provide its lottery technology and services to the TDLR through to August 31, 2028.

“Brightstar has a successful history of supporting the Texas Lottery, and we are pleased that our contract was extended,” said Brightstar North America chief operating officer Scott Gunn. 

“We look forward to continuing to work productively with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.”

In its most recent financial results, Brightstar reported a 7 per cent increase in third quarter revenue to $629 million in its first full quarter since the sale of its IGT Gaming business.

Shares in Brightstar Lottery plc (NYSE:BRSL) closed 0.57 per cent lower at $16.49 per share in New York Friday.
