US sports betting content supplier Catalist Sports has appointed James Monk as vice president and general manager.
In this new role, Monk will lead the company’s launch and operations across the United States as Catalist Sports establishes its presence in the market.
He will oversee all aspects of US operations, including commercial partnerships with licensed operators, regulatory licensing and compliance, product rollout, and business development strategy.
Monk joins Catalist Sports after three years at Infront Sports & Media, where he was an associate director. He also had stints at IMG Arena and Topgolf.
Catalist Sports is the exclusive reseller of Infront Sports & Media content, bringing official data and live streaming rights from a portfolio of more than 60,000 annual events to licensed US sportsbooks.
This includes top-tier tennis events, including the Australian Open, ITF World Tour, Davis Cup, and Billie Jean King Cup, as well as an additional 40,000 events across soccer, basketball, and ice hockey.
Monk said of his appointment: “Catalist Sports’ entry into the US market marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. With a first-class content portfolio and regulatory approval in place, we’re perfectly positioned to help operators enhance their offerings through high-quality, official, exclusive content, not available anywhere else.
“We’re proud to be building a business founded on compliance, partnership, and innovation, by partnering with best-in-class third-party suppliers.”
