Casino games provider Playnetic has appointed David Mann as chief executive officer to spearhead the company’s next phase of expansion.

Mann has nearly two decades of experience in the iGaming sector and joins Playnetic from Swintt, where he served as CEO since August 2022.

He takes over as CEO of Playnetic from Dan Phillips, who had been in the role since October 2023 and now serves as non-executive director and board advisor.

“David’s appointment marks a new chapter for Playnetic,” said Phillips. “His strategic vision, proven leadership, and passion for innovation make him the ideal leader to guide Playnetic through its next stage of global growth. I look forward to working with him as we continue to establish the business as an industry leader.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mann said: “I’m honoured to join Playnetic at such an exciting and pivotal stage in the company’s journey. The achievements in such a short time are a testament to the vision, talent, and dedication of the team, all key factors in my decision to take on this new challenge.

“Our studio teams are among the best in the industry, and we have some exciting plans for 2026. Our focus will be on driving the next phase of growth, strengthening existing partnerships, creating new opportunities, and delivering exceptional gaming content to our operator partners and their players worldwide.”

Since its launch in January 2024, Playnetic has secured licences in Malta, Sweden, Romania, Greece and the Canadian province of Ontario, and has launched over 40 new games to sit alongside a library of more than 100 historical games.
