Licensing deal enables Caesars Sportsbook to tap into star power of MLB players as the new season gets underway
Caesars Entertainment has deployed MLB player imagery in its marketing and across its sportsbooks under a licensing deal with MLB Players, Inc.
The multi-year agreement makes Caesars Sportsbook and William Hill Nevada officially licensed sportsbook partners of MLB Players, the business arm of the Major League Baseball Players Association.
This has allowed Caesars to integrate MLB player imagery into the Caesars Sportsbook and William Hill Nevada mobile apps, as well at retail locations for both brands.
“Sports fans regularly show us how much they care about the athletes they follow,” said Eric Hession, president of Caesars Digital. “Their presence and star power are what fans respond to most. Bringing licensed player imagery into our platforms helps us deliver a more engaging experience for fans.”
Evan Kaplan, president of MLB Players, added: “Players are the most powerful connection point in sports. By partnering with Caesars, that connection becomes even more visible and dynamic, giving fans a richer and more engaging experience across its platforms.”
The 2026 MLB season started on March 25.
Shares in Caesars Entertainment Inc. (NASDAQ:CZR) gained 2.75 per cent to close at $27.29 per share in New York Wednesday.
