Stockholm-listed supplier’s turnkey solution will power sportsbooks in seven of Canada’s ten provinces

Kambi Group has been selected by Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) and British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) to power a multi-province Canadian sportsbook solution.

This will see Kambi provide its multi‑channel sportsbook technology and services to power sportsbooks in seven of Canada’s ten provinces.

The selection follows a joint Request for Proposal (RFP) led by ALC to appoint a single supplier for a national sports betting solution capable of supporting multiple provincial lottery operators.

The framework aligns participating provincial gambling corporations around a shared sportsbook technology and trading foundation, delivered by each operator within their respective jurisdictions.

“Being selected to power this multi-province sportsbook solution is a strong endorsement of Kambi’s trusted technology, regulatory expertise and proven ability to deliver at scale,” said Kambi CEO Werner Becher. “ALC and BCLC have set out a clear vision for a single, consistent sportsbook and we are proud to support its next phase with our high‑performance, compliant and proven Turnkey Sportsbook.

“Kambi has a long history of working with lottery and state‑owned operators worldwide, and we look forward to delivering a world‑class sports betting experience for players across multiple Canadian provinces.”

Atlantic Lottery director of sports betting Scott Eagles said: “This collaboration represents an important step forward in how provincial lotteries work together to deliver a consistent, high‑quality sports betting experience for players, while maintaining strong governance within each jurisdiction. Through this collective approach, we are focused on prioritising trust, integrity and player protection.

“Kambi’s proven sportsbook technology, deep experience supporting lottery and state‑owned operators, and ability to deliver across both digital and retail channels made them a strong partner to support our shared objectives and the long‑term future of sports betting for Canadians.”

In addition to British Columbia, BCLC provides online gambling and sports betting in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, while ALC operates government-regulated sports betting in the four Atlantic Canada provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Shares in Kambi Group plc (STO:KAMBI) soared by 19.84 per cent to SEK153.80 per share following the announcement in Stockholm Wednesday, which came alongside the release of the company’s first quarter financial results.
