Live casino supplier finalises second round of funding ahead of the launch of its first games

Avanti Studios has raised a total of €10 million as it prepares for the launch of its first live casino games later this month.

The company’s latest funding drive raised €5 million in an oversubscribed investment round, giving Avanti a total of €10 million in seed funding.

Avanti said that the oversubscription reflects strong investor confidence in its “vision, strategy, and long-term prospects”, while providing additional capital to accelerate its growth and commercial execution.

Genting Casinos UK, a first round investor, provided additional investment during the second round, underscoring its continued belief in Avanti Studios.

Avanti Studios plans to deploy its first live casino games in the coming weeks.

“I’m incredibly proud of the investor group we’ve assembled,” said Avanti Studios co-founder Gustaf Hagman. “Their backing demonstrates not just a belief in our company, but a belief in the future, and I’d like to give a special thank you to the board of Genting Casinos UK for their continued support, guidance and the overall contribution they’ve made to our journey so far.”

Avanti’s other co-founder, Jonas Delin, commented: “Avanti is thrilled to have finalised its second stage of funding in what has been one of the biggest investment rounds in an industry start-up this year. We strongly believe that the future belongs to real-time, lifelike, interactive digital humans, and to see so many investors share this vision with us indicates one thing… this is only the beginning!”

Avanti has secured its first customer in the Spanish market through an agreement with operator Luckia.es, and has agreed an integration with Light & Wonder’s aggregator platform for global distribution.
