New branded deal with English Premier League club marks Winvia’s first B2B partnership in the Prize Draw Competitions segment

Winvia Entertainment has agreed a deal to launch a new branded prize draw competition for English Premier League football club Aston Villa.

Winvia will develop and operate Villa Win, an official Aston Villa prize draw competition for the club’s supporters, offering exclusive Aston Villa-themed prizes and fan experiences.

The partnership marks the first major B2B deployment of Winvia’s Best of the Best (BOTB) brand, which will manage all operational, regulatory and technical requirements of the competition.

For Aston Villa, the partnership will generate a new, scalable source of revenue that can be reinvested into the club’s long-term growth and support its ongoing investment in community activities.

“Villa Win is a strong example of the partner-led opportunities that we are confident our platform is built to support and represents another step in delivering the strategy we set out at IPO,” said Gil Barel, head of strategic partnerships and M&A at Winvia Entertainment. “Aston Villa has a powerful brand and a highly engaged supporter base and has recognised the opportunity for prize draws to bring supporters together in a fun and engaging way.

“We are pleased to be working with the club to launch a new prize draw competition supported by our technology platform, operational capability and prize draw expertise.

“For Winvia, this partnership demonstrates how we can apply our platform into new channels with established audiences. We are confident that this model has the potential to scale across other clubs and sports organisations and become an increasingly important part of the Group’s long-term growth strategy over time.”

Francesco Calvo, president of business operations at Aston Villa, said: “Winvia’s platform and expertise will allow us to create more fan engagement opportunities through our new Villa-themed prize draws.

“It will not only allow us to interact with our supporters in a fun and different way, but any revenues generated can be reinvested in a number of ways including our many community schemes.”

Shares in Winvia Entertainment plc (LSE:WVIA) were down 1.41 per cent at 245.00 pence per share in London Wednesday morning following release of the company’s financial results for the first half of 2026 on Tuesday.
