Acquisition gives Trivelta a portfolio on iGaming titles and a live dealer studio

Massachusetts-based gaming supplier Trivelta has acquired online casino games developer Kerma Games.

The acquisition gives Trivelta a growing portfolio of casino titles, including branded games based on Snoop Dogg, Lil Baby, Sexyy Red and Luka Modrić, as well as an English-language 24/7 live dealer studio in Monterrey, Mexico.

The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

“Kerma Games has built something genuinely different in a market where standing out is becoming increasingly difficult,” said Trivelta chief executive Carson Hubbard. “It combines strong technology and game development with a clear understanding of entertainment, culture and globally recognised talent, and we’ve already seen that translate into real success across our client portfolio. We believe that combination has enormous potential.”

Kerma Games will continue to operate under its own brand and commercial strategy, and its games will continue to be available to operators and platforms independently of Trivelta’s technology ecosystem.

“For Trivelta, this acquisition is about much more than adding another games studio to our portfolio,” added Hubbard. “We are investing in a brand with a distinctive identity, an ambitious product roadmap, including a 24/7 live casino studio that will bring Kerma’s games to life in an entirely new format, and the potential to become one of the most recognisable names in iGaming.”

Liam Tassiello, founder and chief operating officer of Kerma Games, commented: “This is a major step forward for Kerma. We built the company around the ambition of creating games and partnerships that players genuinely remember, and joining Trivelta gives us the resources and reach to pursue that ambition on a much larger scale.

“For Trivelta, the acquisition adds proprietary content and entertainment IP capabilities to its existing B2B technology ecosystem, creating new opportunities across both companies and further expanding the products and experiences Trivelta can bring to operators. For Kerma, the transaction provides a foundation for faster product development, broader international distribution and a larger pipeline of original games and long-term entertainment partnerships.”
