Appointment marks a return for Chibib, a former CFO of EVERI
IGT has brought in former PlayAGS chairman Adam Chibib to serve as chief financial officer.
Chibib (pictured) will assume his new role on November 1 to replace Fabio Celadon, who will step down as CFO at the end of October after more than 20 years at IGT.
Chibib served as chairman of PlayAGS from 2018 to 2025 and joins IGT from Raptor Technologies, where he has served as CFO since March 2025.
His previous industry experience also includes six years as president and CFO of Multimedia Games, which was acquired by Global Cash Access in 2014 to create EVERI, now a part of IGT.
“Adam brings the public company, private equity and gaming experience we need for this stage of IGT’s transformation,” said Hector Fernandez, chief executive of IGT. “His financial discipline and operating mindset will be important as we sharpen execution and strengthen cash flow creation.
“I also want to thank Fabio for more than two decades of leadership and commitment to IGT. He has helped guide the company through significant change and has been a trusted partner across the business.”
Chibib said of his new role: “IGT has a strong portfolio, leading market positions and a clear opportunity to create value. I look forward to working with Hector, the leadership team and the Finance organization to strengthen financial and operating discipline, align capital with our highest priorities and build a durable foundation for growth.”
