Acquisition strengthens OpenBet’s sportsbook offering to WLA members worldwide
OpenBet is strengthening its sportsbook capabilities with the acquisition of technology provider OmniLogic.
OpenBet said that the acquisition will expand its footprint across regulated lottery markets, adding established operator partnerships and specialist sportsbook expertise to its global business.
OmniLogic has provided sportsbook technology services, including trading, risk management and back-office functionality, to major regulated lottery operators and World Lottery Association (WLA) members for over a decade, although the company does not publicly disclose the specific names of its lottery clients.
Following completion of the acquisition, OmniLogic’s specialist team, based principally in Győr, Hungary, will join OpenBet.
“OpenBet has built its leadership position by partnering with leading operators in the world’s most demanding regulated markets, and this acquisition is a natural extension of that strategy,” said OpenBet president Nikos Konstakis. “It adds proven technology, specialist expertise and established customer partnerships that complement our existing capabilities and strengthen our global business.
“Lotteries remain the core focus of our growth strategy, and OmniLogic has built a strong reputation in this sector through long-standing customer partnerships and a deep understanding of their requirements. Bringing that expertise into OpenBet further strengthens our position in the global lottery market. We look forward to welcoming the OmniLogic team to OpenBet and building on the strong foundations they have created.”
OmniLogic co-founders Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor said: “Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise and long-term partnership. Joining OpenBet gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation as part of one of the world’s leading sportsbook businesses.
“For our customers, it brings the additional scale, capabilities and product portfolio of OpenBet, while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today. For our team, it creates an exciting opportunity to become part of a global organisation with a strong commitment to the lottery sector.”
The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to complete later in 2026.
