New CEO will take over at the end of the year, with Jordan Levin becoming chairman

OpenBet has appointed Nikos Konstakis as its next chief executive, with incumbent CEO Jordan Levin transitioning to the role of chairman.

Konstakis currently serves as OpenBet president and will take over as CEO at the end of the year, at which point Levin will transition to chairman, where he will continue to play an active role in shaping OpenBet’s long-term strategy.

OpenBet said that the appointment builds on the leadership role Nikos already plays across the company, where he has been closely involved in driving the operational and commercial execution of the business and shaping its strategic priorities.

“Nikos has already been instrumental in driving the evolution of OpenBet and I have tremendous confidence in his leadership as CEO, having served in multiple and progressing senior executive positions at OpenBet,” said Levin. “He knows our business, our customers and our technology inside out, and has played a central role in shaping our priorities and how we execute against them. 

“Furthermore, Nikos has been a true confidante and partner in the business since coming on board over eight years ago. With OpenBet on a strong footing and significant opportunities ahead, I’m excited to continue supporting Nikos and the wider team as we drive the next phase of OpenBet’s growth.”

OpenBet recently announced its planned acquisition of OmniLogic, further strengthening its position in the global lottery market.
