Italian gambling regulator authorises betting on Setka Cup table tennis tournaments
Betting content and odds provider BETER has gone live in the Italian market after securing approval from the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM).
The Italian gambling regulator has authorised betting on Setka Cup table tennis tournaments, which are distributed exclusively by BETER, allowing licensed operators to legally accept wagers on the tournaments for the first time.
Setka Cup is currently available on the local domain of BETER’s long-term operator partner, bet365.
“Italy is one of the most important European markets for BETER and one of the most tightly regulated betting markets, so having the ADM add the Setka Cup to its list of authorised fixed-odds betting events carries real weight and further strengthens our position in the region,” said BETER CEO Gal Ehrlich. “It allows operators to accept bets on a new form of live betting in the country, putting our exclusive table tennis content in front of a major new audience while supporting our ongoing expansion plans.”
