Pennsylvania marks Octoplay’s fifth North American market and its third in the United States
Octoplay is expanding into its third regulated online gaming market in the United States after securing approval in Pennsylvania.
The interim authorisation from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board allows Octoplay to supply its games to licensed operators in the state, adding to its existing US operations in Michigan and New Jersey.
“Regulatory approval is the foundation of everything we do commercially, and we treat it that way,” says Martina Borg Stevens, chief legal officer at Octoplay. “Pennsylvania sets one of the highest bars in the United States and we met it.
“That puts our content in three of the largest regulated states in the country and gives us the platform to keep building across North America.”
Alongside the US, Octoplay’s games are also available in the regulated Canadian markets of Alberta and Ontario, as well as a host of regulated European markets.
