Agreement has been reached on a range of measures aimed at tackling match-fixing by the representatives of the global sports movement, governments, law enforcement bodies and the regulated gambling sector at the third meeting of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) led Working Group on Irregular and Illegal Betting in Sport in Lausanne.


The meeting endorsed a series of recommendations made by three expert groups drawn from the main Working Group which are focused on raising awareness, improving monitoring, intelligence and analysis, and strengthening or encouraging the adoption of legislation and regulations to combat match-fixing.
