Gaming Intelligence interviewed an ebullient Sean Ryan, the VP of platform partnerships at Facebook, in a near-empty hall at the end of a long day at the World Gaming Executive Summit in Barcelona. His words of wisdom are worth hearing so here they are for a wider audience.
Sean Ryan is the VP of platform partnerships at Facebook. He is responsible for the global games team plus payments and other related subjects. His team, which is based in London, Singapore and California, looks after platform integrations.
“How do we help all of you integrate your apps with Facebook so that your apps become better, cheaper, stronger, faster?”
Perhaps part of the reason the hall was half-empty was that many traditional operators have lost faith with Facebook as the likes of 888, Bonza and Gamesys have pulled their real money gambling social casinos after a failure to make the games profitable. Why did they fail?
