Social casino studio Ruby Seven Studios has entered into a strategic partnership with the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians to launch a branded social casino offering for the tribe’s California venue.

The deal has been agreed with the management board of the Pechanga Resort & Casino, the Pechanga Development Corporation, and will see the two partners create, launch and promote the new free-to-play gaming offering.

The social product is set to launch in mid-2016, featuring video poker, bingo, keno and blackjack, as well as repurposed real-money casino slot themes and customised slot games that highlight the resort’s various features.

The announcement comes as Pechanga embarks on a $285m expansion, building a new hotel, luxury spa and convention centre designed to enhance the resort experience for guests and cement the venue’s position as California’s pre-eminent luxury gaming destination.

“We are very excited about this partnership that will help us extend our brand beyond Southern California while giving our players the opportunity to engage with Pechanga anytime on any device and from anywhere in the world,” Pechanga Development Corporation president Patrick Murphy commented. “This new and exciting social casino will bring the unique Pechanga experience to a global audience.”

Pechanga tribal chairman Mark Macarro said the tribe was committed to offering the best possible digital experience, with the upcoming social casino launch “just the first step in that long-term initiative.”

Ruby Seven chief executive and founder Michael Carpenter added that he was thrilled to partner what he described as “an innovative and beautiful casino and resort.”
