Sky Betting & Gaming has selected SBTech to provide a full sportsbook platform for the company's upcoming German launch.

Sky Bet Deutschland will utilise the SBTech platform together and its pricing, trading and risk management services, as well as CRM, payments, reporting and automated bonusing tools.

Other features, such as SBTech's flexible cash-out, enhanced accumulators and price boosts, will also be offered to German players.

"Our growth strategy is focused on agility and technological innovation and as such, SBTech was a natural choice as our sportsbook and platform provider," Sky Bet Deutschland managing director Jochen Weiner said.

Weiner previously served as managing director of Tipp3, the short-lived sportsbook brand launched through a joint venture between Österreichische Sportwetten (ÖSW) and telecommunications giant Deutsche Telekom.

"The deal with Sky Bet consolidates our position as the market-leading provider of sportsbook and platform solutions for premium operators worldwide," SBTech chief executive Richard Carter commented. "I'm particularly looking forward to overseeing close collaboration between our teams.

"Innovation is at the core of both of our organisations, and together we can push the boundaries of the sports betting industry, providing new products to customers in a wide range of territories."
