Sydney-based online slot specialist Big Time Gaming has agreed a deal to license its MegaWays mechanic to casino games developer Red Tiger Gaming.

Red Tiger will combine the mechanic with its own distinct slots design, including its Daily Jackpots, Smart Spins player rewards engine, and new tournaments application.

Red Tiger will also design its own games using MegaWays, a random reel modifier system that sees any given spin produce a different number of symbols across the reels. It first debuted in Big Time Gaming’s Dragon Born game more than three years ago, and is also available in its Bonanza, White Rabbit, Extra Chilli, and the upcoming Who Wants to be a Millionaire slot titles.

“We are thrilled to have joined forces with fellow game developer and innovator, Red Tiger Gaming,” said Big Time Gaming CEO Nik Robinson. “We are excited to see how the hugely talented team at Red Tiger combines our unique mechanic with their own formula for creating hugely popular slots, allowing even more players to experience the fun and thrill of MegaWays.”

Red Tiger Gaming chief executive Gavin Hamilton commented: “Nik and his team are real innovators and have built great brand recognition around MegaWays games.

“Players know what to expect when they see a MegaWays branded game and we will extend this to the maximum with some twists of our own. We are very excited about the vast potential for this combination.”
