German lottery brokerage ZEAL Network has posted a 62 per cent decline in revenue for the first half of the year as a result of heavy jackpot payouts, although a reduction in expenses helped the company record a significant increase in net profit during the period.
ZEAL saw revenue fall to €25.7m, largely as a result of a single jackpot payout of €47.9m via a lottery held by its MyLotto24 subsidiary in May.
