London-listed gaming operator Gaming Realms has recorded a significant increase in revenue for 2014, but higher marketing expenditure and operating costs resulted in a widening loss.

Gaming Realms, which offers free-to-play games in the US and real-money gaming in the UK and elsewhere, saw revenue for the 15-month period to Dec. 31, 2014, climb to £11.3m from just £881,000 a year ago (15-months to Sep. 30, 2013), with the UK market accounting for £9.8m of the total.
