The Chinese lottery market saw total sales decrease by 4 per cent to RMB367.88bn (€51.4bn) in 2015, with December’s results marking the seventh consecutive month that sales have fallen compared to the previous year.

Total sales in December were down 6 per cent year-on-year to RMB34.12bn following declines across both the Welfare and Sports Lotteries, which were impacted by the suspension of online sales by the government since March 2015.
