Strong growth in sports betting during the fourth quarter helped France's regulated iGaming market to post a 7.5 per cent increase in total gross gaming revenue for 2016, despite the decline of horse racing and poker.
Total market GGR rose to €813m in 2016, with sports betting accounting for almost half of total revenue at €349m, an increase of 29 per cent year-on-year.
